Predictions:
barrels are shorter and wider - more spread
no drum at the bottom - can only fire 2 rounds before reloading
the advantage - ability to discharge both shots at the same time

Also, I thought the pyro was the best update too AFTER they fixed it up.

I've read this a few places too and I must say I like it better than my predictions.  It will rock if you can keep using it while airborne to redirect your motion each time.

So I died a few days ago and missed this whole forum, but I guess I expected most of the hate... I honestly cant wait, I love scout and cant wait to mess with people with the new abilities so far... only thing I can say I'm disappointed with is the lack of Boston references in the achievments.... i mean seriously, SO EASY:

I could think of plenty more that would totally make my day... but then again, from what I've learned over the past few years of my life: The world as a whole really hates Boston...

Pyro is good overall (after BB nerf), but I think the medic was best, heavy has gotten better now that they buffed natasha, but I still think the sandwitch is mostly useless

Out of the gate, its the Medic all the way.


Duck's image and prediction look interesting and an acceptable substitute, reminds me of the sawed off in Action Half Life, thing rapes if you surprise someone.

what would be the point of a double barrel exactly? any class who doesnt see the scout coming is dead. why would you sacrafice 4 shots for this?

note: im refering to scouts who can actually aim. not some retard whp panics behind you and whiffs

the scout can 2shot almost every class. why would you need a faster kill than that? the only possible use i can think of for a double shot is jumping into a crowd and pegging the medic once.

also duck that bullets missing theory is incredibly awful and i really hope its wrong.

Achievements are out for real.

A few of them were right on the money. Pop Fly and Batting the Doctor were wrong. Block the Plate was half as much as predicted.

Ultimately, they were spot on, just a lot of numbers were shifted around.

It looks like arena mode will now have a crit buff for the person who gets first kill.

In other news I think the bonk may add a percentage chance to shrug off damage, probably bullets only.  But that makes the game weird, what you have to roll against the scouts armor rating (or bonk rating)?
