...and class limits rear their ugly head. Anyway I'll support this since it is as close to my ideal as I can see.

I think this is mostly due to the download server being slow, neither scotty nor I have really had the time to look for a new one. We experiment with dreamhost and it was multitudes faster, HOWEVER, it only allowed a maximum of like 3 or 4 connections at once, so if 10 people have to download a map, well, 6 or 7 people are SOL and it will give them a map not found error. If anyone would like to search for a better host, I'd be very grateful, you dont even have to pay for it, just find it. It has to have two things... #1 - Fast speeds #2 - 10+ Gigs of Storage #3 - Several gigs of bandwidth allocation #4 - Ability to handle spontaneous large loads Basically you need a box that can handle a sudden influx of 15 - 20 people all downloading the same file at the same time and maintain as fast of a download speed as possible. Rotation needs more custom payloads.

Steel runs just fine for me, same with arena and others, and my rig may be one of the worst here. |

scotty brings up a good point about pooping
anyways, any time that I have been on the server that switched to arena, there were only about 10 people there anyway is there a way so arena doesnt 'rotate' unless there is a certain amount of people on the server (such as the max that valve set for arena)??? Yes, I believe there are plugins that you can specify conditions as to whether a map gets skipped over or not (most likely being a player count) To get back on topic, does anyone else have any suggestions, Im leaving the end decision up to Kor on this one and since he has FTP access, he can change it any time he wants to. freight gravelpit follower goldrash labor/well warpath badwater 2fort/mach4 steel switchback_b5/stag dustbowl I'd put the least likely map for people to have right after steel, because anyone that will play steel probably has a better chance of sticking around for a custom. Then DB right after to try and recoup losses. I'm not certain what to do with freight and follower, as they seem popular to include and I like them, but it's hard to gauge their proliferation. Also alternate rotation would be. science2 blockfort science2 blockfort science2 blockfort So I can spend the rest of my life with a 2.5 k/d ratio. Oh and I really do think it's worth having a round limit to go with the time limit. Not sure exactly how that stuff works, but it'd be nice to have. Mm, yeah, I can get behind this movement.
I like 2fort, but it is kind of slow. Aqua I could stand to keep. I don't give a shit about Norad. Okay with Labor and a scarce round of Gpit. Alwaysalwaysalways Dustbowl, Warpath, and either Badwater or Goldrush. |

Rotation change is forthcoming!

I'd still like to see round limits for map changes. If maps cycled easier rtv would probably be less of a problem (though the list for random selections really does need to be cleared out). 1 round for each team on a/d maps, best of 3 (or just 2 if you can't do best of) on 5 point maps, and 2 rounds on CTF maps.
