ctf_casbah_b3 - I don't know who keeps porting TF2 maps, but I really don't care, cause Casbah was also a good map, and thankfully a standard CTF map with nothing overly special about it. The original had a Morocco/Middle East theme to it, but unfortunately that's not desert-industrial enough for valve to port it on their own, hopefully it will be better than avanti.

pl_river_crossing_b1 - badwater style map, escort the bomb across the river to a waiting train

cp_redfort_b1 - single stage attack/defend with 4 points, sort of like how avanti was, but actual points instead of flag running

cp_follower - the final version that vile pickle put out, I still dont think we've had a proper 12v12 on it


If possible, please try to show up around 7pm CST (an hour early), I'd like to try to get a game going on both #1 and #3, so please don't stack #1, I'll give proper notice to anyone in #3 to drop out and go to #1 when 8pm rolls around.

If he rescales it I think it will be fine, the translation seemed to make the map 50% larger than it should be

This.  Avanti was probably my favorite TFC map next to....whatever the one was with the opposite flag, the generator, and the triple level set of tunnels, cliffs, sewers, etc.

This, too.  That first point needs work.  Right now it's too sniper friendly and not cramped enough up on the point itself.  The last point could be reworked a bit too to make it less huge in the back area, which I've always seen as really contributing very little to the gameplay.  Maybe some adjustments so scouts aren't so dominant on the first point.  Like actually giving BLU a SG spot that isn't easily killed from every single angle.

Casbah - Alright, but too big, also spawns need a second exit
Red Fort - Sad
River Crossing - Meh
Follower - Good as expected from VP...but damn if spawn timers aren't a huge bitch

Casbah - looks great, but way to big for a CTF map, also reds base is easy to defend with 2 snipers as you have this long hall way to walk up to get into there flag area

Red Fort - hmmm this map is just all wrong for the way TF2 plays, the concept is great but just does not play well

River Crossing - had to go to bed :/

Follower - Well looks amazing, and im sure for Matches its a good map to play, BUT it does not feel like your playing a new map..its feels like someone just changed cp_granary textures to alpine + re spawn timers feel a bit long sometimes, im sure he just used the same timers from cp_granary so maybe the are ok ??
