Announcing the first European BRB!u TF2 Server.

Gentlemen,

Yesterday my boss gave me a virtual machine for personal uses on our virtualization platform. I've installed linux on this and OUR FIRST EUROPEAN TF2 SERVER!!!

Besides having sourcemod and metamod installed I haven't put a rotation or anything else on it yet, so suggestions are welcomed. My main goal of this server is to grow the BRB!u community over here so that we euros can have epic FNF's and TFT's with better pings and more in tune with our timezones... This doesn't mean that I won't be joining the US server anymore, but when it's european prime time, I'll be on the european server. If this works out, expect more europeans on this forum. Off course any help seeding/attracting people to it will be very welcomed.

That's it, I still have polishing to do, this is the first time I installed a gameserver so it's a fun learning experience as well.

if i recall correctly , euro primetime is about 2PM eastern. which is about 7 or 8PM in the land of strange wall sockets

Last I checked there were no commies, you've been watching too much of the new Indiana Jones movie, which was sorely lacking in Nazis, the Soviets are not an acceptable substitute.

Server's doing great.  Insomnia is tweaking it.. rtv is working, and he said he removed disliked maps.

I'm getting 130 ~ 140 ping on it from Southeastern U.S.  I found it quite playable.

I can still hold a ping thats a little over 100, but it's very playable and i'd like to see this community expand more anyway. Plus that fact that it's free is very nice.

I'm doing kinda that, I'm not putting customs in the rotations yet though... When we get regulars on that server I'll kick in the customs and see what is most wanted by then.

Well I mean keep all the customs so they can RTV, but don't neccesarilly put them in the rot.
