Payload Night & Stats

While some of you have managed to figure it out, I am pleased to announce that ScottyG has finished stats for the server, you can view the stats page here. They were recently wiped and don't be alarmed if it shows the servers as 'timed out' the SQL connection goes dead after a while and the first roughly 10 - 15 min of play time when seeding will have no stats. Nothing can really be done about this, other than the cron job Scotty has going that reopens the connection every half hour.

Three payload maps tonight, dustbowl, heights, and cliffhanger

pl_dustbowl - its dustbowl...with a bomb, ending cinematic is very very good from what Ive heard, try not to spoil it for yourself

pl_cliffhanger_v2 - looks like it could be good, no assessments on FPS banana, but its fairly new

pl_heights_db2 - alternate version of pl_dustbowl, much more radically altered it seems from the screenshots

I like the idea of pl_dustbowl, the merging of 2 great maps into one colossal clusterfuck of a fragfest.

If it's like other servers I have played on (before BRBU) it gives you points for kills and caps and maybe some other stuff, also I think the amount of points you get is dependent on the skill of the person you got it against.  Like if you kill someone with 1 million points and you only have 1 thousand it will give you 4 points instead of 2 or something.  I also think the reverse is true.

Anyways it permanently keeps track or your stats on that server only, and you can show it off to your friends and enemies.

Yah, the track normally goes through all those places everyone attacking tends to avoid (like the spam-pit entrance and the No-room-to-avoid-crits tunnel)

All of the stats across all three servers are meshed together, it does not matter which one you play on they all go into the same bucket

pl_hydro - the track goes all the way around each map section, only to end up back 2 inches from its starting point.  There's not enough track to make it to the bomb site so it never can explode.  Map has no round time limit, only a map time limit.  I think that'd simulate the hydro experience nicely ;P

They refunded my money so I'm just going to get another card elsewhere. It was to be an AGP card since I have no PCI-E slots on my motherboard. I was getting a GeForce 7600 512 MB. I'll see if I can find one at Microcenter this weekend.
