i got called a dick today b/c i joined server #1 and didn't do "taunt fight only".  i don't really care about being called a name, but please respect that others may not want to do stuff like that when they join (especially pubs).  i guess this is pretty similar to dave's locked thread, but thought it was worth mentioning again.

If the server is wide open, and people don't want to play by some special rule set, tough shit. Admins will not help you enforce something, and subsequently berating other players or being generally useless when things don't go your way falls on the 'don't be a dick' rule.

Is it worth making a big deal over when some shitface gets to run his mouth to people and I get muted with no warning for telling him to shut the fuck up? Yes it is. It would also be less of an issue if half of us didn't call each other names from that to god knows what else on a daily basis.
