FNF 7/17/09: MACHO NIGHT FIGHTS

So~ Another Friday is upon us.

Well that's empty so let's do some Pick up games for super happy fun times! Maps will be Goldrush, Dustbowl, and if we're still up for more Pick ups Granary. Leaders for teams will be picked on the fly, except for Round 1 on Dustbowl because I just had a hilarious idea.

Sabotage (AKA Backwards Pick Up Game)

They say knowing your enemy is the key to victory, and who else do you know better than your friends? With Sabotage, team leaders choose who joins the opposing team and decides what class they play. Your friend's a terrible Sniper? Make 'em Snipe for the enemy. That guy that just wrecks with everything he plays? Make 'em sit back as Engi and turtle to give your team an edge.

Rules are:
1 of each class at the least, 2 people on the same class maximum. (No picking 9 spies for the other team, sorry kids we can RPS later <3)
Players must stay on that class for the entire map.
Late players who join in after the match starts will have their class chosen by the opposing team's leader.
Have some fun! We'll do an all talk vote to see if people wish to SPRSRS it up for Sabotage, All talk will be turned off for other maps.

This will require a bit of coordination and leaders with knowledge of (most) of the players so I request that if you'd like to lead a team for Sabotage please post. <3 First come first serve.

Red Team Leader: Ace Leader Sponson
Blue Team Leader: Kaiser Nitrous Oxide

As usual, FNF Starts at 8 CST, join up on Server 1 password will be littlecart. If Server 1 is full, head on down to Server 3 please. <3

Last but not least, does this sound like a good idea? I've been racking my brain for ideas to not just simply do the same thing, hopefully this idea isn't boring but if it flops we'll do regular pick ups for the remainder of FNF and you can all send me mean PMs on my other forum account of Zaneyard.

unfortunately though where i work they like to schedule me on friday nights
i think im gonna change my availability so i can attend FNF every week.

one critique on the gametype, it sounds sweet otherwise
who here absolutely hates playing with the class that they suck at most?
i know i really dont enjoy playing as demoman cause i suck so bad at it
the idea of two people with no limbs getting in a fight is kinda funny, but how enjoyable is it to those with no limbs?
