So I can connect to the internet, but firefox won't load any pages. I've double checked, since I'm doing fine on the mac. Any ideas why it can't connect?

use chrome...
i recently switched and never looked back but i would try reinstalling it... the usual stuff. clear cache, check firewall stuff, spywares etc. I switched bc it wasn't loading or if it did it took 10 seconds to even start loading a page. IE worked.. but IE sucks and I tried everything anyone on the interwebs said to no avail, so i went with chrome. trust me... I'm a 2L |

have you made sure your DNS servers are up and that you can connect to them?

did you try reinstalling? it's dumb i know but once in a while shit has hit the fan and that was the only way to fix it for me :\

restart your computer. I used to have the same problem on Ubuntu. If it's only just started happening then use System Restart IMMEDIATELY before you forgot when it started happening.
