it won rpg of the year at the spike vgas. honestly it doesn't deserve goty for me though.

If you're measuring your goty in what it brought to the table that was genuinely new and original... then yes, this game wins by a landslide.

Eh, I didn't like Mother 3 as much as Earthbound. It was a bit... too frustrating for me.
