Dante's Inferno: PS3 Demo (HD) Part 1 of 3
God of War style action game based on a poem. Looks like a definite buy for me. Anyone else interested in this game? |

I like Bayonetta a lot more, but I recently read The Inferno for English, and the fact that I could play a game that completely destroys and rapes the book... it's tempting. |

It's just like playing God of War really. Not a bad game and it was entertaining. I mean the first thing you do is kill Death. That's awesome lol But really it's just a change in theme.

Maxon, I could tell from just watching a couple videos it was God of War, but God of War has a winning formula and is insanely fun to play. I just hope the Holy/Unholy thing isn't a whole stale good/evil choices system. |

I don't have it yet, since it's not out, and I dunno if I'll pick it up on release anyhow. But it plays like Devil May Cry, but with a sexy lady. Which is AWESOME. But like I said, it's not that Inferno isn't fun, because it is. I just don't know how long it'll last, which is what makes me lean towards a rental. At any rate, I hope this'll pave the way towards more game adaptations of novels. I would love an open-world Brave New World game. Some kind of RPG or something. |

Check your local Best Buy, apparently they've been breaking street date on Bayonetta.

I'm sure it'll be a good game, but I just feel insulted that they had to name it after Dantes Inferno. Taking an epic poem and turning it into a hack and slash pisses me off. They could just as easily have named it "Cutting Bitches in Hell" with no bad effects.

Yeah, especially when the only thing the game has in common with the book is Dante goes into Hell. Beatrice is after. The game he goes to find her and rescue her or something (also she's topless). No Virgil either... though I DO want a Virgil character to be playable. |

Bayonetta? Yeah from what I've read, Sega ported, not made for both 360 and PS3, but ported Bayonetta over to the PS3, and it has some glaring issues.

I think I want Bayonetta, this game and maybe Darksiders. Any comments? I have enough in gift cards/rebate visa cards for all 3 or 2 and a G15.

I'm probably just gonna rent Bayonetta, but I want to buy Darksiders. Dante is gonna be a rental also.

Bayonetta is more of a buy than Darksiders is, imo. Got Darksiders from Gamefly and I can't really see myself playing it more than once. I can see myself playing Bayonetta more than once.
