Heh, apparently I'm good at predicting things one day, and finding said thing the next day. So anyone remember how I imagined how nice it would be to have a remake of Thexder? Apparently there's been one out for PSP for a few months now. It just now got deposited on the PS Store for PS3 today. I remember playing the hell outta the second one (Thexder II: Firehawk) on my old 386. Awesome game. But like I said, welcome to hell. It's hard as fuck - and this version is more forgiving than the original. Something like 16 levels, 1 life, no continues. Die and you start over ok seems there are continues - still. Want an old skool side scrolling space shooter/platform play? You found your game. A lot like the maccross game (though Thexder game first) if you ever played it.
