It's McSvhost, I think this is a McAffee process. Maybe I should switch to a different antivirus program?

I don't have such a process on my w7x64 box.

Have you made sure to add  *\Steam\*\appcache\stats to your antivirus' ignore list?

Remove McAfee, it's useless.

Give MS Security Essentials a try.

Also close MSN Messenger if you use it, it tends to cause shuddering in Win7.
