Dr. Commish was gracious enough to gift me a copy of this, it's pretty fun. I didn't play the old gauntlet (I was raised on the Midway versions), but I can pretty easily see the appeal of getting a group of four and dungeon crawling. Four classes with distinctive skills, a few difficulty settings, pretty smooth gameplay and entertaining enough dialogue. Would probably get a similar replayability out of this as we did for Risk of Rain. Overall it's a game that doesn't seem to take itself too seriously, but still packs enough features to be quite entertaining for the comparably low cost. Oh, and this game is built for gamepad.
It'll be more cost-effective if we get a couple more 4-packs. Who's interested in this game? |
