FNF - 8/21 Pig Mask Strikes Back Editon

[Scary Womanizing Pig Mask]

Alright, remember my last FNF? Let's just pretend that didn't happen, as this week will be what I had planned for then: Two maps, both (unintentionally) themed around Metal Gear Solid, and whatever tomfoolery we decide to do (RPS? Pickup? Pl Awesome? Karaoke?)

The maps:

CTF Outset: A beautiful CTF map based around the first island in Wind Waker. We played it a beta version in Euro FNF way back when, but while very fun, it's optimization was frankly shit, so we had to move on. Now that the release is final, all such issues have been fixed, and were finally able to enjoy it in all it's cell shaded splendor.

and

CTF Seafort: Another pretty sea based map, this one a CTF in a Big Shell esque sea base.

I saw and liked your arcade idea, but this is something I've wanted to do for a while. I apologize if that's selfish (which it probably is >.<)

Yeah well. I wish yours didnt suck and ive wanted a redo for a long time, no offense to nitrous but I'm glad you have another chance at it :-*

On an unrelated note, might -possibly- be there, I'll be at a friends and I'm unsure if I'll bring my computer or not. Depends on if I'll be able to go online with it there, if not ALL WEEKEND IDLE PARTY YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA IM GONNA COME BACK AND HAVE LIKE 7 HATS

seems like the perfect time to suggest my 3rd-person-night idea.  Basically turn on cheats and everyone type thirdperson in console.  BAM, FPS becomes not-so-tactical third person shooter.

Yeah I know that opens up other cheats, but I think it would be pretty neat until all hell breaks loose and we have people no-clipping everywhere.

While I really like the idea, if there's no way to ensure that people can't use the other cheats, I don't think it will fly.

Awesome video.  Also, there's no reason we shouldn't be able to do this on a locked server.  Sure, we're a bunch of assholes, but we're jolly assholes.  I think we could organize something without degenerating into asshattery.

While I can't watch it at work, if I remember correctly, that's the video where the rockets just appear out of nowhere and go flying toward each side.

It required several mods to be put on the server to get the map to work properly, and putting them on tended to break everything else that wasn't that map, I might be mistaken. Post a link if you have one.

omg that mod owns

now they have like megabombs that are payload bombs that fly around.  they also made it so there is actual objective, like capturing cp's while giant cannons shoot the rockets.

Well, it's not like everyone who will be there isn't a regular anyway.  I think people would respect the rules at least long enough for a few rounds of it.  Just trying to spice things up, do whatever you want though  :-*
