It's not Notch's fault people voted for him in that contest and made him win.

From what I heard, the update's going to also include the music blocks and dyes to use on cloth. Hopin he'd add in some extras but no idea. Also heard something about being able to opt in for a nightly build, so you'd always have the most recent version they have.
