Holy shit copperhead got blown away as the biggest map on the server.
It's a full 100MB unzipped, everyone needs to pre-download this, your TF2 client will choke on it for probably a good 5-6 minutes, AFTER it's downloaded. |

Its not the biggest I've ever hosted, there was one that was >160megs because it used a TON of portal models and textures, and of course, TF2 can't see portal's model folder... Â Sig by Joel |

mfw only 5 people have that map pre downloaded and we sit and wait in an almost empty server for 10 minutes before people start showing up.

I didn't see any custom anything in the screenies of pl_bigass_map, but I did see a LOT OF REALLY OPEN SPACE I THINK.
I think this is another map where the mapper didn't know about the zoom function in Hammer? |

I just gave the map a quick run through. The level of detail and craftsmanship is top notch, better than the stock maps. There are 6 points in the map counting the starting point and it mirrors itself after the mid point. It's one stage and follows the typical formula of big arena, bottle neck, straight away, then repeat complete with lots of alternate routes. This map could be the new aqua if it's actually fun. also by standing on the cart from beginning to end I got 24 captures to give you an idea of length. |

It will not become the next aqua because it's unlikely to be added to the list you can nominate from, it *will* kill the server. |
