Last time I will bug the board about my computer

I just got it back and it is completely wiped  :'(

So I figure I'm going to just go clean instead of trying to figure out if any of my ancient backups are useful.  I need to put a list together of everything I need to install, and then I am going to do a complete disk image backup.  Sofar I got.

Steam
Himachi
Ventrilo
mIrc or Xchat or whatever
Firefox

So is there anything else I should install that I'm forgetting?  The plan is to be able to go back to a clean install but with everything set up.  I also got some work programs I won't list.

i'd use mIRC, it's simple enough.

you'll need a few small programs like winrar, codecs, etc.

I hate Apple,  just to let everyone know.

This experience has been the opposite of smooth.

Not only did they lose my leopard disk, but boot camp just lost 74 gigs of my HD, which apparently happens.  I just need to run a disk utility...on the leopard disk.

Funny thing is I think I can fix the latest problem on my own, but I'm going to call anyways so I can bitch some more.  I know it's immature, and I'm trying not to be rude to the tech support guy, cuz he was nice and it's not his fault.  But I'd very much like for him to pass my dissatisfaction up the ladder.  So they know they are now losing customers like Microsoft.

I don't know about that, but they don't like to make things easy when it comes to parts. As a reseller, you need someone with at least eight apple certification points in order to get advanced part replacement. WTF? we sell your crap, make it work.
