Ubuntu 8.04 Using Wubi

I am a relatively new Ubuntu fan, and was thrilled with a cool new feature they implemented this time around.  Its called Wubi and basically it is a great way to work in Linux without knowing a thing about partitions.  It is a 3 step process for install:

1. Select a password
2. Select install
3. There is no three

Thats it.  You tell it how much hard drive space you want to dedicate to Ubuntu (anything from 5GB to 30GB) and it installs Ubuntu right inside your Windows OS.  Then when you turn on your computer you are faced with a screen like this:



You just select Ubuntu and it boots in as if it were a dedicated partition.  For people who want to test out Linux but are scared and are tired of live cds, this is a great way.  Best of all, its simple to uninstall as well.  Just boot into Windows and into your Add/Remove Programs list.  Ubuntu will show up as one of the programs.  Uninstall it as if it were TF2 ( ).  You can download the installer from Wubi's official site, or it is one of the options when you pop the Ubuntu Live CD into your CD drive.

I might give it a go, i need a spare hard drive to stick it on, but then Id have Unbuntu, Vista, and XP all on the same box.
