The best 'Hack and slash' game on PC?

i dont want something like diablo, as good as that is, i want something like lotr rotk, which i had on ps2, that kind of game

but i wouldnt mind a better mele system.

any ideas?

Warriors Orochi is fuckin' awesome.  Only sold for PC in the UK actually.  Acquired taste, but I love them.

It was fun for a few hours until I realized that the best strategy was position myself so enemies were in front of spikes, kick them once, they die instantly.  Makes you wonder why they'd put racks of spikes in their dungeons when they're so dangerous.

DMC4 is a good hack and slash and actually is a good PC port if you have a USB controller to play it with (360 wired is the best one to get for DMC4, if you can find a used one it's decently cheap)

metroid fusion is still my favorite metroid game, just for the atmosphere the SA-X creates. shit's intense when you're running from it, and you feel so great when you can finally kick it's ass.
