So I figured I'd make a new post sharing my feelings Smile

I tried Vista when it first came out and, as most people, wasn't thrilled.  I just got a 1TB HDD on black friday, so i figured I'd install a second OS and give Vista a shot again.

I installed Ultimate 64 bit.  PC runs smooth and TF2/L4D got about a 30-40 up in FPS which is really impressive.  Most areas I'm getting 60-80 and really crowded drops down to 40-50 which is obviously still quite playable.  So that's my short story... If you've been considering upgrading/ thinking about the dif between actually using all 4 gigs of your ram and 64bit vs 32 and DX10, I'd say try it out.. I havent had any problems with any of my programs

trust me... I'm a 2L

Ive only had problems getting planetside and some older stuff like fallout 1/2 to run. Other than that and the fact that creative sucks dick at making drivers I've been fine.

My biggest problem was that they switched around everything and made it harder to manage, and incompatibility.

Otherwise, I don't have a huge beef with Vista. Hopefully SP2 will jumpstart things a bit...well, better.
