Yeah...I don't think we necessarily need to expand in numbers, but like Wedge said, we need to keep the people we have.

We've been playing TF2 for over a year, and although it's still awesome, I think people have gradually been losing interest in it. I haven't been playing it much recently.

Left 4 Dead is a great game, but because of the nature of the game and the small amount of people who can play on the same server, it's not really capable of supporting a community. Plus, there is the fucked up server situation.

Mods and old games are cool, but they can't support a community either.

So...I dunno, maybe we should try a COD server, like some people have mentioned. Is COD4 still alive? I don't own COD4 or 5, but I might be willing to buy one if we had a server.

I can't really think of any MP games coming out soon.

Anyone have any opinions?

Also, this community doesn't bases on which game we're playing. As you've seen most of the real deal here is the forums AND IRC. I would say IRC is where the big fish are. It doesn't depend on who is playing what. Sure, L4D is great, and most people is still playing it a lot (myself included) but i don't think that's what makes a community

Also, i agree with Jeff that at least people should attend more to FNF/TFT and admins should be a little more bitch and start kicking some random pubs (or people who don't talk or we just don't know that much) if a regular is trying to play

It can only be fun if you attend and make it fun, I stopped going when it turned into everyone trying to talk over everyone else, that to me is not fun and when either scotty or I has to yell 'one at a time' every five seconds

back in summer i know i had much more free time, even though i worked full time.
also, my computer is beginning to show its age. its alot easier to play console when i can barely play games like TF2 on my PC

The summer/more free time thing is definitely why I'm not around. School and working 40 hrs. a week, Every time I feel like playing some TF2 I'm like wait a second, why aint I sleeping. I havent really been playing any games (except Fallout 3 and SSF2 HD:Remix). Single player games feel like chores when you dont really have excess time to devote to them, and TF2, CoD:WaW and the like usually lose out to IRL friends.

I think on Easter, (Since its a holiday that doesnt require you be with your family all day) we should declare that it is BrBu reunion day or something, and everyone should try to play at least a half an hour, or at least stop by and say hi.
