Re: Does anyone know sign language? - Benito Mussolini - 12-01-2009

Put someone who knows sign language in front of the camera. There is no way the person on the other wouldn't know that isn't you, right?

But I guess that if you knew someone that knows sign language, you wouldn't be asking in a forum in the first place...

Or you can tell her you're a snail. Snails can't talk.

Legit response: Say your "hard of hearing". Somebody said to try to pull of lip reading if he/she talks loudly. If shit goes down say that lip reading is your preferred way of communication even if its not the easiest way.

Lip reading.

Phone service.

Something is wrong with putting the two ideas together, but I can't figure out what...

it's a video call she wants me to do

I think she's onto Zane. Who can resist him?

I know I can't.

Read it. Check with a lawyer.

But I bet that it's a one way thingy: you can't break it, but they can do whatever they want.

Re: Does anyone know sign language? - zaneyard - 12-02-2009

they never made me verify anything to sign up for it though, i just need to figure out a way to dodge this bullet so i don't have to try to do sign language

Re: Does anyone know sign language? - Greatbacon - 12-02-2009

You don't have a webcam, duh.

good point, and i actually don't
unfortunately my phone has a camera on it
i think i'm just going to tell her i that email is much more convenient.

Re: Does anyone know sign language? - beep beep diglett - 12-02-2009

i think your best bet is telling her you're hard of hearing and occasionally going "WHAT? I CANT HEAR YOU"

content: tell her you lost your arms and have prosthetics (sp) that cant sign

Re: Does anyone know sign language? - zaneyard - 12-02-2009

I told her that it is more convenient for me to respond by email as i have school all day and work afterwards all night
i'll have to wait til tomorrow after most of her 6 hour shift before she will actually respond though.
