TF Tuesdays 5/26 - CaffeinePowered - 05-25-2009

ctf_hursey_b2 - authored in part by Geoff, was slated to be done last week but I forgot to add it, its a CTF map with paths that change over time

cp_blackmesa_final - Ive overlooked this map for a long time, but now that a final version is out, its time to take it for a test drive

cp_akzo_b4 - dustbowl style attack/defend map


LAST MINUTE ADDITION - pl_deadend_b2

Updates
Freight -> Freight_Final
Waste_b3 -> Waste_Final

If we buzz through the first three maps we'll probably do a pickup on the new version of freight

if we have time can we test the updates to my payload map pl_deadend_b2
iv not uploaded it to FPSBanana yet due to that virus alert on it last night

some quick changes
Point 2 and 3 are totaly remade to be a bit more open
point 1 pushed back a bit
removed over head platform on point 1
removed alot of ammo boxs
added spawn room blockers
redid all the lighting outside
added new doors to stop people going the wrong way

its a cool map Geehoff, but it rapes my X300 prison style

azko needs a bit of polishing imo.

venguard, map is sweet. i just got lost a few times because i cant follow arrows.

I liked this map, though definitely needs an underground tunnel for getting across or maybe side tunnels.  Way to easy to get killed by snipers in the middle or by moving ramps lol

Deadend has alot of good changes too, though it's a real pain in the ass to get out of spawn if you don't have good uber rushes with at least two medics.

Hursey - Aside from optimization, needs a few things
1 - Have a trigger around doors and the signs so that if people are blocking them they won't close
2 - Underground tunnel access between the bases, away from snipers that doesn't close/open with the other paths
3 - "panic mode" where all paths are available

Deadend - 1st point spawn exit needs an upstairs exit on the left or right side, sort of like the exits on goldrush, where you have one to the side and one in the middle

Yeah... for b3 we took away the locking system entirely, because in an earlier playtest people were so damn stupid all you could hear was: "AUGHEUGHAIWUGHA WHY IS DOOR NOT OEPN", "WTF IS THIS DOOR WHY IT DONT OPEN DURR", "OIWAHFAWOKGHAWGHW".
