I'm looking for a new game to play with the wife, and I was thinking of picking this up.

YES IT IS GOOD. However you need to play it against other players. The computer is a cheating whore, and not fun to play against at all.

Culdcept is an amazing game.
Plus, I think Saga lacks the Old Willow which I so hated from the previous game.

Oh shit, I have a kelpie. But it has low health (30) so I never used it. Although now I can see the strategy ;D

I fucking hate the things. They're the reason I carry scrolls in my deck.
Except then people run shit like Magic Growth and Haste, and I'm all like, 'You're a dick' but then I just Plague and Punisher the field until everything dies. Oh damn. My 'Everything Dies' book. Best book of 50 spells ever. Lap the board, Catastrophe (or Tempest, since Saga doesn't have it), Insect Swarm, repeat.
