I also can drive the flail.

Flails are awesome but you have to have spotters. 2 spotters and 3 flails can change the course of any outdoor battle.

Well they are OP for sure and boring to play and suck like a bitch when you are on the receiving end. But for screwing around they give good BP and annoy so what could be better?

Flails can be extreamly overpowered when used correctly. As long as you have good spotters and some AA you can farm many kills and be a fag at the same time. I would have a flail if i could drive and gun a magrider efficiently. Otherwise it really isnt worth the cert points for slave.

No, flails are kittens compared to what they used to be

When flails came out originally it went like this....


1) They had more armor than a prowler
2) The 'shot' did 100% damage, even at point blank
3) Much greater ability to aim up and down (if you parked on the right hill you could aim next to yourself)
4) Fired Faster

It was so retartedly OP people could rack up more than 100 kills in an hour by simply camping a doorway with one, if a reaver or a mosquito came to kill you, you could shoot it down with the 'shell' because it would insta-gib them.

You had enough armor and angle to just drive up to the fringe of any battle, deploy, and start owning shit, the only two things that ever passed it in retarted levels of OP were Lasher 2.0 (not what we have now FYI), BFRs when they first came out, and the original pounder max (and you think the scatmax is bad).
