I could almost go for the player piercing. Up until I get domed thru the heavy I'm giving a reflect wall to, then I hate it as much as Natacha when I'm not the one carrying it. The SG piercing part was bullshit through and through though.

On a more interesting note rather then this meager squabble between awesome feature and needless douchery, I found this



Its a skin for the spy's disguisea kit. I didn't realize the wrangler could prolong sapping.

Best spy mini game ever... hunting and killing only one person. Gets hard when others are killing you but you can only kill your target. Great for distracting skilled targets.

Also pro tip for a normal watch/C&D spy is you need to play as if you don't have disguesses and just stay unseen. Take advantage of explosions and mic distractions!

revolver - no crits, slows down 15%
knife - does more damage when not backstabbing, but has a "reload" time of 2-2.5 seconds

I'm actually hoping for something like this:

L'etranger:

+20% damage done
-40% accuracy

That encourages the opposite of the ambassador, you close in on someone with their back to the wall, and eat them alive. Only problem is that you really couldn't rely on accuracy at long range.

The Eternal Reward:

+3 hp per second
-15 hp
-10% swing speed

I think this would be quite nice for a paitent spy, rewarding him thinking over rushing into things, perfect synergy with the cloak and dagger.

On the other hand...

The Eternal Reward:

This weapon lets you gather souls
+25% fire vulnerability to the wearer.
+5% speed per soul (max 4)
Pressing R while the knife is out and you have over 3 heads lets you channel the souls you've collected, giving up your run speed, but giving you faster reload times, quicker shots, and in the ambassadors case: Uncooled headshots for an amount of time equal to 5 seconds per soul.

-15 health
-20% swing speed

Reasoning: I ain't gonna lie. Nothing says "AWESOME!" to me like a spy realizing he's been discovered, and flipping the hell out with his gun, especially if he's good with it. And the latest trend with unlocks is that you start off disadvantaged, but recover and become better after you work for it. (Like the heads system, Buff Banner, and the Frontier Justice) Something like that for the spy that is unique would be amazing. That, and I like collecting backstabs. 

[Versus]

5 seconds per soul is ridiculous, make it more like 1-2, otherwise it's going to be people (me) headshotting heavies in less time than it would take for me to charge up my sniper rifle and headshot them.

Exactly. It's just more efficient for both of us. I get to go on my merry way after stabbing, and you enter respawn quicker. It's a lot like using a debit card over cash.  ;D
