You still dont have a disguise though, so I believe my point is still valid....

if you're anything like loqutus or War with the dead ringer, you don't need a disguise.

I hate the new knife so much. I know I've said it like 5 times in just this thread, but damn son. I join a pub, and get stumped when I see a sentry. There has to be something I can do right? Well, I can backstab someone, and approach, but I constantly heard "Spy as me." And that shut me down. Those three words. Valve, I am very disappoint in the spys pack.

you have to give up killing sentries in return for a easy killing 5 people without one noticing withing 5 seconds merc

But that's balanced by the time you chainstab three Engies on the Badwater roof in full view of their sentries and sap everything. 10-12 destruction messages in a row.

It's not even giving up killing sentries, it's giving up the ability to be mobile around sentries. Normally I see one, or even a nest, and my first thought is "Ok, I go here, here, or here after a stab, and I'm safe." With that thing though, it's me sitting in a corner, wondering how in the hell I'm going to initialy backstab someone just to get a 3 second disguise that I would only use for the sap, and then revolver the engie. It's just so constricting, and limits the spies utility into a far more random chance roll of "Will he, or won't he see me?"

I dunno, the time you take for the perfect chainstab with it could be put to much better use with the normal knife. Least, that's what I think.

Cept it would work on any server that isn't all talk since live people can't hear dead ones  :-X
