Japanese easy to learn my ass.  I'm still not good at it.  I plan on learning Taiwanese to communicate with the Grandparents better, but seems difficult.

Have you tried Roestta Stone? I played with the rosetta stone japanese stuff and it was pretty sweet.

I wish, that stuff is freakin expensive.

I wanted to get Rosetta Stone so I can finally talk to my wife's parents without the awkward language barrier, but it is freakin expensive.

I speak English... American ver. 3.0. Comes standard in most of the U.s..

I do not understand why people here have country accents... or why they even still exist...

English is my primary language, and since I live in the only official bilingual province in Canada there I know a decent bit of French. I haven't really spoken French since high school though, so I'm really rusty.

I do want to learn Danish as well. It'd be nice next time I visit family to be able to speak with all of them. Just need to get around to converting those casettes to mp3s...

Danish is a trainwreck to try to learn. i spent two weeks there visiting family, and couldn't get past simple pronounciation.

I would love to try to learn it if i ever had time, but my father says that the dialects aren't uniform enough outside the city to really get by with learning just one language.  Of course that was in the sixties  Big Grin.

Wait... that means you live in Quebec, right?
If you speak almost only English, then you MUST live in Montréal... either here or Gatineau-Hull...

Two observations:

1) No one has replied with Klingon yet.  The eyes of the community rest on you, Kor.

2) Doesn't Furdom have an official language?  If not, invent a furry version of Klingon and claim internet fame now.

Yeah. Listening to my mom speak it isn't helping me stay positive about learning it. Thankfully just about everyone in Denmark speaks almost perfect English though. ^_^

Nope. I live in New Brunswick: the only officially bilingual province (The northern and eastern ends are predominantly French, and the south and west are mainly English). Funny thing, Quebec is the only officially unilingual province. Tongue

This sounds like

A) a basis for a porn film
B) a new SciFi original

Someone get on this.
