Problem with Cincinnati is that downtown pretty much sucks.  Also, I would guess the reason they do it in Seattle is that's where the Penny Arcade folks live, so it's easier for them.  I really liked Seattle when I visited last summer.

I think they should just do it in a field in Kansas.  Like, make a little colony of gamers for a weekend or two.

Awesome time, I saw & played, In no particular order:
Demigod - awesome
Starcraft 2 - also awesome
Left 4 Dead - I wanted to try zombies
Dead Space - Remains to be seen, still am expecting something good though.
Castle Crashers - Crash some castles
Sugar Rush - Definitely recommend a fun smash-bros-style fighter
Not the complete list, still slightly mush-brained from 8 hour flight.
I will definitly be buying a 3D Pneumatic Force-Feedback punch vest. for hilarity

Did not get any hands on time w/ fallout 3, but the presentation was promising enough.

I played.... ummmm... Valkyria Chronicles, coz' it was the only game without a huge fucking line I cared about.  And it's fucking awesome, if you have a PS3, get it.  Oh and played a little Sugar Rush too, seemed OK for what it is.

Also I got sum shirts and you bitches should join Instant Action so we can play Legends and Rokkit Ball and Metal Drift when it comes out.

Wedge = super lame for not finding me at all during the whole thing (RFGo really wanted to meet you)

Fallout 3 Wasteland Survival Guide = super awesome
Fallout 3 only being demoed on 360, and Bethesda doing a crappy job of monitoring the booths and letting the same fat smelly person play for 45 minutes without stopping = fail

It's not my fault there was no communication and nobody hung out anywhere other than bars.  Maybe if anybody got people together for something gaming related I'd have shown up...

Aerox and the Ghost were super awesome, and the... what, five minutes? ... I got to spend hanging out with Chooly were also very awesome. It was great to meet you guys along with everyone else. <3

Wedge: Shame we didn't get to meet you dude. There was definitely plenty going on outside of drinking... I spent most of my time either with the friends I initially stayed with or with dtoiders going around looking at games. Wouldn't have tried out Wario Land: Shake It otherwise. Even some of the time at that shitty bar was spent playing DS. Oh well though, another time.

I hear you guys about the lines... I didn't get to play a lot of the big name games because of it... Barely got my chance to play Mirror's Edge for god sakes (if they actually do allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the analog sticks and manage to keep the levels fresh, I see it being a damn good game), and didn't get a chance to play L4D or Fallout 3...

If by sick you mean awesome, then yes. The controls work, and give just the right amount of forgiveness in the platforming.

Like I said though, I'm quite curious if they'll manage to keep the levels fresh and fun throughout the game.
