Recommend me one, preferably under $400 and able to access Wi-Fi. I'm looking at the Dell's even, well aware of their reputation.
And this is meant for portability, not really for extensive gaming :V. I just can't lug my desktop everywhere. |

fuck those goddamn retarded AHRIAHGAGHSAGHIASGA FUCKING EEE
Just pick anything on sale from HP or Dell, and Dell's rep is mostly for their desktops and that laptop battery set that was exploding back in like '02. Their laptops are actually pretty solid. |

Can rarely go wrong with Dell, just have to ditch their software load.
I've been eying the new EEE 1000HE myself, I love the 9+ hour battery but I wish it had the SSD hard drive. Mind you, it's out of your requested price limit. |

But I'm quite happy with the MacTop. |

My reccos:
HP Mini1000. Keyboard's one of the best i've seen. With XP: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shoppi...0xp_series With propitiatory Linux interface: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shoppi...mi_series If you want some more robust hard drive space, I'd go with an MSI wind: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6834152075 |

for me, there is nothing I use a a netbook for that I couldn't do on a good smartphone for cheaper, smaller, lighter, and without being tethered to a wifi location.Â

Because I have a phone Rummy :V. And don't need/want to pay monthly service fees? Nor do I need a phone contract.
http://www.androidg1.org/g1-deals/ Plus they seem to cost the same price as a netbook anyways. |
