Same thing happened to me when I installed a video card. If at all possible, you're going to need to uninstall your drivers, and get a new card.
That's my opinion on it at least. |

you edited the OP, what kind of HDD was it? laptop? desktop? you might be able to get a BRBu donor for one if you're broke

One extra drive isn't going to break the bank, and you will be glad you did, plus almost every consumer-level RAID controller that supports raid-5, now supports raid-6.
