To take this thread in a different direction, i never understood the fascination of a chainsaw in a zombie apocalypse scenario.  You'd think with all the gore that splattered around that one might get infected if the gore got into any open cuts, in their mouth, or into the eye.

Plus Chainsaws aren't really the lightest or most mobile of items

Ditto, chainsaws are overrated. Fireaxes however, aren't.

Also in L4D these guys are immune to the virus, as in, they get clawed by hunters and don't turn.

Braindead is such an awesome movie, in the US it's called Dead Alive believe, I think it has the record for most fake blood used in a movie ever. It's also directed by Peter Jackson.
