[/quote] Green / Red, I seem to remember a ton of cards that do 1 damage to all creatures in play and that player takes X damage for each creature killed this way. I can't think of any cards that hinge their usability on ownership over control, plus most token decks don't give their opponents tokens, they generate them for themselves (so first controller would be the casting player anyways) so I still don't follow your logic. I stopped playing shortly after 4th edition, I recall snow-covered lands being new.
I played a White/Green defensive deck using a ton of +1/+2 Fortified Walls and something simlilar out of Green, used massive amounts of first strike critters. I prett much smashed red/black/blue. I've always been a Black/Blue player myself, I think mainly because that combo deck is the epitome of card gaming rage for your opponents, between the control and some of the straight stupid shit that black presents.
