Cloud wasn't whiny. Emotional yes, but he never whined. Especially with all the shit he went through in the first place. Plus, you gotta give him kudos for taking down Sephiroth in the Nibelheim Mtn. facility.

So I dled the demo for this, and must say, I rather like it. It's a bit simple, but seeing as I'm not the best at fighting games, I kind of like that, and it's probably because all of your options are restricted in this version. The whole Brave Point/HP Attack system is very robust, and a wholly unique experience, that makes for a great chance of pace from the usual fighting game fare. Of the available charecters (Cloud, Sephiorth, Onion Kinght, Terra and Cecil) I think I liked the Onion Knight and Terra the best. And I got a kick out of playing as Sephiroth as well >.< All in all, I had a very fun time with it, and highly recommend you give the demo a shot. Definitely a title I'm gonna pick up come August.

See I played it in Japanese 'cause I am a pirate yar har etc, it's really well done for a fighting game, even moreso for one on the PSP. A few of the attacks seem kind of slow and hard to aim at best, but for the most part characters are actually balanced.

I got sick of not being able to understand the cutscenes so I stopped before unlocking Shantotto, which is my ultimate goal.
