The update will force demos to get skills using the normal nades again instead of relying on stickies for everything.

I've got to try this later today, but as far as I'm concerned right now this doesn't nerf anything not worth nerfing and we're all throwing a world class hissy for nothing.

also, Dispensers are as weak as ever, so with just some good placed Stickies you can blow the Dispenser and the Engie to take out the Sentry later.
Also, does everyone have been noticying the increase on lvl 1 sentries all over the place because most engiers are way too busy upgrading their Dispensers and Teleporters? |

Nothing's changed at all, though I do see a lot of retard showing in this thread. Demo got a much needed nerf (though not the same one everyone cries about). Being able to spam stickies, completely locking down a thoroughfare and guaranteeing either a completely wasted uber or at least 1 kill is something absolutely no other class had. This takes just a little but of that away. (For the record, this is why Demo's ALWAYS won RPS matches... spamming stickies on the ground guarantees kills, especially in ridiculous quantities)
edit: was gonna say a lot more, but it's too late, I'm too tired, and some people are just too dumb to talk to. My only complaint to come out of the update is the fact that SWEET JESUS 12 ENGIES ON DUSTBOWL AND GRAVELPIT DEFENSE, REALLY? Ripped like paper raped with ease hey scrub nerd pyros suck on these

I've got some sad news to share about this update.  I think we can all agree that this is absolutely game breaking and was probably directly targeted at brbu.  The "explode" command no longer works.  No more rocket jumping and jibbing myself in a bloody rain at the end of the round.  You just die.  So at least I can still fall down the stairs  But seriously, did they really need to remove the command that badly

Manage to disguise near a dispenser, and you'll regenerate your cloak really fast. Therefore, engineer leaving a dispenser alone means a happy spy! But seriously, I'm cool with stickies being destructible, just not after ONE FUCKING BULLET. If they're in a tight corridor, it shouldn't take two shotgun shots to knock them down in 3 seconds. It's called a chokepoint for a reason. It should deter and slow you down when properly defended, even with threats. The Lv3 Dispenser/Sentry combo is even more of a cockpunch to the Demoman. Engis can shoot the stickies faster than Demos can lay them. |
