Postimg has stupid android hijack ads.

I, also, did a thing, and impressed my chef ladyfriend so much with my grill skills that she just sat and stared at this for several minutes before eating it. There were almost tears.

For future reference: a few nice thick sirloin steaks, some Extra Virgin Olive Oil, McCormick Grill Mates Chipotle & Roasted Garlic Seasoning. Put the steaks on a pan with a lip, splash a little oil on one side of each steak, liberally season, and rub it in a little. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes, then flip and repeat. Before throwing them on the grill, season and rub again (but don't add any more oil). Grill per your preference, but I like to let the grill come up to temperature on High, then throw them on to sear and put grill marks on both sides, then turn it down a smidge and close the grill to let them cook for a few more minutes on each side, then pull them when they're medium rare, and let them sit in a different pan (or the same one if you used foil for the first part, just don't cross-contaminate your raw & cooked food!) for 5-10 minutes to rest before eating. Fucking perfection.

One of the things my dad made sure to teach both me and my brother when we were young was how to sling food on a grill, and every time I grill I mentally thank him for it.

I made something similar to this last night. Got myself a slab of LondonBroil and rubbed it with olive oil, Chili-powder and some spice blend from the store. Let it sit for a couple minutes and slapped it on the grill. Pulled it when it was medium-rare and wrapped it in aluminum foil for 10 minutes. Oh man that was tasty.

Spent most of last Sunday in the kitchen and did some pretty serious cooking, just now got around to uploading some pics.

Homemade butter draining buttermilk:

A couple loafs of fresh bread.

Dtrain's potato stew simmering away.

My culinary skills end at wrapping one meat in another kind of meat, then seasoning.
On the plus side, bacon wrapped chicken bites are delicious.

I need more cast iron cookware.  Mostly for self defense.

I applaud the big jump to including organic ingredients.

Both from yard-sales. One is a Griswold that's likely older than me!

Fun fact I never knew, cooking in cast-iron imparts iron to your food, which then boosts your blood!

Made some General Tso's Chicken using an altered recipe. Really happy with it, though it is ludicrously high in sodium.

If anybody wants it I can post it here.

Fluffy Ass half hour strombolis

You need a can of crescent rolls, and whatever meats/cheeses/ et cetras you want in them

Preheat your oven to 350F

Take Crescent rolls, unwrap them into rectangles, set one aside

Lay fillings on top of three of the crescent roll dough rectangles(Try to keep cheeses in the middle)

Fold dough over fillings, and use the extra crescent roll dough to patch up the side opposite the fold.

Cook for seven minutes, flip them, and then cook for another 8
