Also for maps, usual stocks of Payload, Plr, 5 point CPs, defense maps (Dbowl, Gpit, Steel). Not really a huge fan of customs so if people feel like suggesting ones that aren't stupid I'll refrain from punches in the face.

Well I figure ditching the micspam part of it is a small tradeoff for no crits. After all, the population of that server would die pretty swiftly if it's filled with nothing but micspammers, since even people who feel like mic spamming would get bored of that quickly. I'd really rather not designate 2 as the "Silly server" because that worked out so well last time for all of 3 days before no one went there. Partly because of the maps, and partly because of the micspam. I miss Duck's nocrits server, so I'm gonna pump it till that's back in action.

As for Dave, keep stock maps on rotation and silly maps on nominate. And when you're in the server just shout at people to not play silly maps.

Works for me.

Agreed, can't get more macho.  Only issue I see is that the server's should have "vibes" you pick up on immediately to know what's cool and what isn't.  I see nocrits as being more appealing to serious players but then we can't yell at people for not playing seriously on the loosey goosey server. So should we switch em?  Main is nocrits for people who want to play the game and alt is fast and loose for those that just wanna have fun?
